Research and Development

GENTRAS develops applications in the DNA-based human, animal and plant identification fields for a variety of different needs.

GENTRAS scientists work with other companies and academic and government institutions to develop projects ranging from the production of new STR or SNP-based tests to the selection of genomic regions exploitable for identification or typization.

Internal projects are run at the GENTRAS laboratories for the launch of innovative applications in the forensic, agricultural and animal breeding fields.
